High School Programs

Palo Alto College is committed to providing high-quality education to the community, including programs for high school students, including Dual Credit, Early College High Schools, TRiO Talent Search, and TRiO Upward Bound. Our collaborative programs provide high school students with access to higher education and prepares them for their transition to college and beyond. 

Dual Credit 

Through Palo Alto College’s Dual Credit Program, eligible high school students can earn college credit for certain courses taken to meet their high school requirements.

Early College High School

Palo Alto College’s Early College High Schools are partnerships with area school districts innovatively designed to blend high school and college education, allowing students to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and an associate degree.

TRiO Talent Search

TRiO Talent Search is a grant program funded by the U.S. Department of Education aimed at increasing the number of students from disadvantaged backgrounds who complete high school, enroll in college, and earn a degree. Palo Alto College partners with Southwest High School (Southwest ISD) to provide 500 students annually with academic tutoring and advising, information on financial aid programs, assistance in completing financial aid applications, and college admissions support.

TRiO Upward Bound

The TRiO Upward Bound Pre-College Program prepares high school students to be college-ready by high school graduation. Upward Bound offers instruction throughout the academic year and during the summer, including tutoring, advising, and more.
