About the Program

Nanotech PhotoThe Advanced Materials Technology program will prepare students for careers in emerging nanotechnology industries as entry-level nanotechnicians in research and development corporations, nanofabrication, nanobiology/agriculture, nanomedicine, nanoelectronics, and nanomaterials.

The program will give graduates the knowledge, skills and abilities to operate a variety of nanofabrication equipment, understand scientific principles and the behavior of matter at the atomic level in chemical, biological and molecular systems, and "wet" and "dry" nanotechnology applications.

If you are interested in learning more about nanotechnology, a fundamental course of "NANO1301--Introduction to Nanotechnology" is highly recommended.
