2017 -  Beverly Evans Student Writing Award

Beverly Evans Student Writing Award

BEVERLY EVANS STUDENT WRITING AWARD 

In collaboration with the Honoring Women Art Exhibit, Northwest Vista College announces the Beverly Evans Student Writing Award. There is a call for papers concerning women and their accomplishments; students can submit poetry, creative non-fiction, research and fiction. The papers should explore the historical contributions or creative significance of a specific women or group of women. The project should reflect on social conditions affecting women’s lives.

Research, fiction, and creative non-fiction submissions should be limited to 2000 words. Poems should be limited to 3 poems and no more than 5 pages total. The deadline is September 21, 2017. Submit work to beverlyevansaward@gmail.com
